Every gallon Gottier delivers is Bioheat — heating oil blended with renewable biodiesel, for the same warmth and a cleaner burn. On automatic delivery, they watch your tank so you never have to; call for an estimate and you will have it within 24 hours.

Installation, service, and tuning of high-efficiency boilers and burners from Peerless and Buderus, along with fuel tanks and annual cleanings. Estimates are free, equipment carries the manufacturer’s warranty, and a typical installation is finished in about a day and a half.
Indirect and oil-fired water heaters from Heat-Flo, Mega-Stor, and Bock — fitted with a fast response and a free estimate, so the hot water is back before it becomes a story you tell.

In 1960, brothers Warren J. and Nelson Gottier put their name on the side of a van in Vernon, Connecticut, and went to work keeping their neighbors warm. The tagline they chose — First in Service Since 1960! — was less a slogan than a standing order, and it has been kept through three generations of the same family.
The vans have become blue trucks and the plumbing trade has become Bioheat, but the firm is still family-owned, still on West Main Street, and still answering its own phone at two in the morning. Some businesses grow out of their beginnings. This one grew into them.
